Badruu told me today that the increase in crop interest amongst the humans meant that Zeki was buying more of Badruu's crops.

He complimented me on my garden again, and offered me more tool recipes.

When I visited him later in the day he seemed a bit disappointed with his life choices. And actually seemed jealous of my own growing skills in the garden. But he quickly changed the subject to bards. I suggested he perform himself ( Naio had mentioned he could play the lute ) but he seemed a bit nervous.

I caught up to him later in the day and realised that my plans with Na'io to fix his lute had reached him. He loved the lute though. He dropped hints that maybe he had played music before farming took over. I wonder why he gave it up.

10th August 2023

I asked Badruu today how to improve my crops and he suggested fertiliser. He added fertiliser to his shop list and I was set if I needed acquire some.

He complained about his back again today. This time in relation to watering the garden. He joked about training a tomato to hold a watering can and did mention a sprinkler system ( which I feel might be very useful ).

When I stopped by later he let me know that I could make my tools stronger by reinforcing them with iron and showed me some more tool recipes for that purpose. But alas, I had no Iron yet.

8th August 2023

Badruu complimented me on my gardening today. And gave me some new tool recipes to help improve my gardening further. He told me he had a taste for a baked potato but had had to sell all his potatoes and apparently dropped some from juggling, but with his sense of humour, maybe he was joking. Unfortunately I hadn't got that far in my gardening so couldn't help him out there.

Some time later, he told me that the store had expanded due to my advancement in gardening.

5th August 2023

When I saw Badruu today he suggested I speak to Delaila for decoration ideas as she's really got the knack of house desigh. I gave him a gift to thank him for the gardening help and he was so overwhelmed with it that he almost forgot his parting pun. Almost.

4th August 2023

I went to see Badruu when the seeds I had planted were able to be harvested. He congratulated me and gave me another seed ( this time wheat ). Which made his wait pun that bit more funnier.

My skill at gardening had progressed further and my next trip to Badruu resulted in an introduction to his store where I could buy some additional stuff for gold.

Apparently he is also a betting man as he was betting on an arm wrestling contest between Ashura and someone called Sifuu.

Later on I bumped into Badruu at the inn. He explained that he comes to town to make deliveries and sometimes pops into the inn for a pint.

3rd August 2023

Badruu mentioned back pain when talking about potatoes. When I bumped into him next.

A little later he arrived at my lot and praised me on the work I had done clearing it out and preparing it for a home. He then gave me some soil and a hoe and told me to first till the land.

After doing that, he gave me some seeds and a leakt watering can and suggested I plant them and keep them watered over the next few days. He said I can use the water in the little pond I had. And there I was considering filling it up as there was a bigger water location further out. So I put hold on that idea for now.

He also pointed out that some plants help other plants around them. Carrots and onions apparently stop weeds from growing. I guess I'll have to learn the rest myself.

He told me that I can get more seeds at Zeki's store.

2nd August 2023

Badruu introduced himself to me with a pun about time. He is the local farmer but claimed to do stand up comedy as well. He made a comment regarding making ends meet, so I suspect that farming doesn't bring in as much money as he needs. Hopefully I don't suffer from the same. But he was willing to teach me the ropes in regards to gardening. He arranged to meet me later at my lot and sent me on my way to Kenli to set myself up with a proper house.
